Not sure if posted in the right section but i was wondering does anyone on here now the best place to buy farm animal fencing.My dog has become a expert in escaping

No but a breeze block and a good thick rope usually does the trick.

You can get green coloured wire mesh fence from garden centres. Down here we have Farm Industries who are very reasonable for most things

If you mean stock fencing, then the best and cheapest places are farm/animal supply centres. Come in 50mtr or 100mtr roles. Garden centres don't usualy stock this stuff and the fencing they do sell costs a fortune. What size area are you looking to fence off?

Hi woodwizzard and meoo that looks good the first section i have to fence is just under 50mtrs and its almost half the price of other suppliers cheers

only problem with stock fencing it was designed to break under pressure so that the animal doesnt get caught.

worth remembering this before buying any

Don't think a dog will break stock fencing I haven't seen stock break stock fencing, which is why sheep tend to hang themselves if not helped out when they have their heads stuck. I used to tension the wire with my fronty and winch, that never broke the wire, it just pulled the posts out of the ground

I have spent hours looking for fencing both to keep my little pony in and the dogs, the cheapest I found by far was on eBay. They were far cheaper than garden centres and also cheaper than my local farmer supplies and I looked at different types
