It's MOT Time

Well MOT time droped her off and then waited for the phone call and she's failed.

Near and Offside rear brake pipes corroded.
(L.S.V to hose ) corroded
Both front to rear brake pipes corroded
near and offside rear antiroll bushes detetiated
near and offside front brake pipes corroded
front near and offside shocks light misting of oil ( advisory )

struggling to find out what is the l.s.v is and does the garrage mean the bushes at the front this will explain my knocking.
any pointers for the bushes price wise

LSV is load sensing valve, controls the rear braking force depending on load, prevents early rear wheel lock up on braking. Easy to find near the back axle with brake pipes going to it and a lever with a spring on going to the axle. It has a short length of pipe between it and the flexy hose, its that pipe thats corroded. Its purely academic as it looks like all your pipes are goosed. Not a major prob and fairly easy to fix. Anti roll bush kits are around £25-30 for the rear and the front links are about £20.00. It sounds alot worse than it actually is and shouldnt cost too much to put right

can do the work its just the cost car was ment to be used to get to work and as i cant use the car i cant work so its a serious concideration at the moment if the cars worth it to keep.

still cant figure out which anti roll bar they mean
Nearside Rear anti-roll bar rubber bush deteriorated resulting in excessive movement [2 . 4 . G . 3 ]
and the same for the off side

A rear anti roll bar kit will have all the bushes in it, so change the lot. If your doing the work yourself it wont cost much more than £50.00 for the kit and your brake pipe.You'll do it easily in a day and then it will be happy time when she passes.
