Re: FAO RobertmillsavThat was the conclusion we had at the weekender ... to be honest we all know that our trucks are plenty good enough (and being controversial here) probably better than a green oval when compered stock truck to stock truck

Re: FAO RobertmillsavTo be even more controversial the best off roader I ever had was an old Lada Cossack and im sure that wasnt 100" Mind you it did make the green ovals look very stupid at times

Re: FAO RobertmillsavCan't agree with a fronty being better stock, than a stock landy, Ratty my ol' freind. If we are talking a 90, then yes, better comfort and better on road drive, but not off-road.
Think a disco is also 100". ![]()
Re: FAO RobertmillsavIf we are being totally honest then its all horses for courses. As many have pointed out it really does depend on driver and terrain ... though I do doubt the full off road capability and enhancements that can be done to a modern Rangerover or Discovery ... saying that I would also say the latest Isuzu, Mitsubishi, Toyota have a massive wheel base and poor turning circle and would really struggle with the sort of terrain we were driving around at the woods with its really tight corners.
