Astra mk4 bonnet alignment

Hi im struggling to get the bonnet lined up on my Astra.It a 2nd hand original GM bonnet but been at it for ages and cant get it lined up.Any tips?Thanks in advance cheers Adrian

In what way is it out?

Height at the front is adjusted with the black bungs on the slam panel by turning them. The squareness is by keeping the bolts loose on the hinges and jiggling it till its in position and nipping them up.

The gaps between the wings and the bonnet.pretty sure the hinge on the passenger side could be twisted though.So weekend i will buy 2 bonnet hinges.

Remember when adjusting the gap between wing and bonnet. Do the bolts up tightish so you can still move it by hitting it with your hand but not loose enough that the bonnet would move when you lift it to tighten them fully.

I wouldnt bother with new hinges mate, they are pretty flimsy, so just unbolt the bonnet from the suspect hinge and tweak it by hand...
