had a break from fronty's over the last couple of years... Replaced them with jeep cherokee's and a couple of land rovers. Landy's were, well, landy's....great but unreliable and rot boxes. Except a series 2a i built from the chassis up..that was ace, oh and a V8 disco i had and nearly rolled while laning with sir doris and furio...that wasnt rotten, just unreliable. Jeeps were good, great off road, but expensive to mod and maintain. Last one ate its own gearbox in the end...
After that i said i wasnt going to have another 4x4 for a long time, got a bit fed up with them
...couple of months later, im bidding on a 2.8 swb fronty on the dreaded ebay. My pc crashed at the last moment of bidding so didnt win it. Sent the seller an email asking him to get in touch with me if the sale fell though. Luckily for me, the buyer let him down. Picked it up on friday, runs great (now i have put an air filter in it) and i really like it. Pretty much standard for now, except it has lwb rear lights. Basic inside, no electric mirrors or windows to go wrong. No sunroof to leak....only downside is i forgot how small they are. Think i better buy a trailer (or a lwb...)Anyhoo, here are a few pics of some of my past fronty's and a couple of my jeeps and landy's.....

So its a HELLO from me, again.....
least we can sort the 2.8 out easily if it has any problems.....bombproof 
so far i havent broken it or got it stuck anywhere... hopefully all will be ok. Clutch bites very close to the floor so think it may be getting close to needing replacing. Not slipping though. At least when i do that i can mod the flywheel so there wont be a problem there...
