MOT advisory

Costaplenty past it's MOT yesterday ,with 3 advisories ,1 front tyres wearing on outside edges maybe tracking.
2 nail in nearside front tyre.
3 rear tyres close to limit in centre.

Thats four new tyres in the near future ,Costaplenty is certanly trying to live up to his name .

As good an excuse as any for some big fat muddies for it mate!

Also trying running at slightly lower pressure if they are wearing in the middle of the tread, this is normally the sign of overinflation

Just a up date,i had four new tyres fitted yesterday,i did'nt bother with the nobbly ones,i don't offroad so i could'nt justify the extra cost.
four tyres,balanced,fitted,filled with some kind of gas,i know that sounds weird,i've never heard of it until yesterday,tracking on the front £328.00.
No takeaways for the next few months .

Gas will be Nitrogen.

£328 for 4 tyres fitted and balanced ain't bad at all.

Thats the one Nitrogen!,i thought he was pulling my leg,then he launched into his sale talk,it's lighter than air,you may get a extra 1mpg,a better ride,and with alloys less chance of the gas escaping pass the seals,i was hooked!,and i got four green dustcaps to boot .

never herd of the nitrogen thing whats that all about then,,,,been nothing wrong with good old fashoned AIR,,,, its free and been doing the job of holding up rubber for the last 100+ years,,,,is it just another way of getting a few quid from the punters,,,,,

Nitrogen does'nt expand when it gets hot the same air so tyre pressure does'nt increase when warm.
