hi guys , been a away fee a wee while
so new motor has been bought ( 60 mpg good times )
so the fronty , its parked out back ....... wheels of and getting a recon job on m ....
new slider bolt on order
2" lift coming soon


questions : thermostat housing bolts are bother threaded ( heads on bolts ) best way to get me out ??? , was thinking weld another 1 to them ???
replacing springs with isusu hd 1's , do i need to replace shocks aswell ? they need replacing anyhow .....just dont want to buy standard if the lift will need more . ....... and is i bung a 2" poly spacer in there aswell = 4" lift ?????

i think iv seen a thread someplace on here but cant find it plus im a bit thick and need it writen in crayon !!!!

i got my stat housing bolts out with an 8 or 10 mm ( cant remember which ) ended spanner, if not try a small pr of locking grips, they shouldnt be too tight, im sure theyre ally so

as for the lift you will get nearly 4 " at the rear, i dont think you need longer shocks but im sure it would be recommended to get longer ones if you can afford it

cheers fog .... if i remember there a 8mm star !!!!!!!! av tried all spanners and locking pliers !!!! think its going to have to be a welding job ! its stuck firm ..... cheers for the link , all i need from what i can see...... im going to invest in a longer set , no point n doing it if ya aint goner do it proper .... plan is to have her back on the road read for the snow , october im guessing ............. got my white board and jobs list up in the kitchen lol
