Did GM do an Australian Frontera?

Evening all - the question is as above really!

My better half has just gotten a job out in Brisbane so I'll be upping sticks and following her out there. Only trouble is I'm a little sad to be getting rid of the truck, and will be looking for a replacement when I arrive. I figured that having spent so much time in the last year or so "getting to know" the finer details and quirks (ie fixing all the broken bits!) it would make sense to pick up the same old battle bus when I get over there, rather than learning a new one.

Oh, and that would also mean I could stay on as a FOGer too

So am I right in thinking from the photos then that the Holden Rodeo is the b series Fronty? Did they do a version of the A series too?

A few years ago I collected an Australian guy from Cardiff rail station and escorted him around south Wales on the Rally GB (we had access all area passes )

Whilst I described the vehicle to him as a Holden Rodeo, he advises that they are also referred to as Vauxhall Frontera's over there as well.
