well after a week solid messing with my 2.8 its was finally looking nice this morning,
full roof rack repainted up and tidied, new bar and straps on front,
cb fitted and working, towbar fitted and working and all the belly plates repainted and refitted,
new lights on the roof looked fantastic well in my eyes anyway...
went for a drive the park this afternoon with mrs and kids and now its a right off.....
still to be thankful no one was hurt my daughter is a bit knocked about from the belt across the chest but hospital gave her the ok..
hit the rear of an audi a3 and totalled the passanger side wing front panel and bonnet lights etc...
only put the new tow here stickers on this morning well miffed..
so guess im on the look out for a new frontera estate..

Glad everyone is okay, it could have been worse.
Buy it back and do it up, you will be surprised at how cheap the insurance company will sell it back to you.

Im glad your all ok mate. As Drifty said buy it back i did with mine and they gave me the offer of buying it for £85 and they gave me cash aswell. Can be done up unless you bent the chassis!

as peviously said..glad you and your family are ok, and it's only metal..bit of filler and some duct tape and no one will ever notice, although the audi will be ***ked..

thanks for the nice replys
my fault the accident approaching a island car in front pulled away i followed but he stopped on the island,
and i didnt....
a bmw niether of us seen came flying around the island, odd thing is the island was clear,
we think he may of turned around and came back up the exit ramp for the toll road,
as there was nothing from the right when we approached the island,
just bad luck i guess..

the cars is a mess on the front passanger side, its got to be seen by the assessor for the insurance first,
but i had thought of buying back for the bits if nothing else,
ive pushed the front panel into the wheel along with the bumper, wing is pushed back as is the inner wing,
bonnet gone, grill nudge bar, spots are fine though lol,
rariator burst, and us sitting against the power steering pump, so no power steering,
managed to pull the front panel clear of the wheel,and drive home as was local to me,
but man the steering was a fight lol...

still as has been said glad i was in the truck as no was was badly hurt,
flatterned the back of a audi A3 though, again no one was hurt,

Glad everyone is ok ... and yeah its a tough break.

I would buyt it back as you could get upwards of £300 for the engine alone on Eblag. Someone not so long ago got £450 for his spare engine he had lying around in the garden. I am sure the rest of it will fetch in some more money, possibly enough to get yourself a replacement Fronty to put the mods and additions you had on this one.

certainly worth the thought of getting it back
they collect it tomorrow for assesment but i know its a none repair...
will try to get back engine is a good one only 115000 on it ive removed a lot of my bits already,
need to find a new motor today or tomorrow if poss,
there are no decent local ones on the fleebay or trader, found myself viewing a disco but the rotten body soon
reminded me why i love my fronteras lol,
think ill post an add on here someone must have something diesel to sell im sure
