Today i sorted out my insurance on the v6 as its due for renewal at the end of the month I am currently insured with Adrian Flux who quoted me £440 to renew with them this year Any how as everyone has been going on how good Frank Pickles are, i gave them a call and they quoted me £214 Fully comp I thought they had made a mistake and asked them to check the details was right I feel like i have ripped them off driving round in a 200BHP motor for that price Happy Days I would highly recommend FRANK PICKLES

Frank Pickles are good at quoting low prices, BUT
You do need to read there small print, Espeically on your quoted mileage and the penalties for going over this limit, and there policies don't include an annual No Claims bonus.
So effectivally, in two years time your No Claims Bonus you have Built up could be lost.
These Policies are intended for Occassional Pleasure use, NOT everyday domestic, and communting use.

Ive had a long discussion with them, they will not take no claims into account or give no claims (like the States) and the policy is for moded vehicles with agreed annual mileage, they can be flexible with the mileage but it costs more. This type of policy is designed for a second car, you keep your NCD on your other car with another insurer, that is why PF is advertised as a specialist insurer. You can use your car how you like as long as its in the agreement in the policy document, which every one should read from every insurer. FP are not out to rip you off as you pay less you have less benefits, but you get other benefits as well, hence modifications and green lane cover, its difficult to get a policy to suit everyone and the insurer so this type of policy may not be for you. I could certainly cope loosing my NCD for saving £300 a year as half the time new customers to insurers get a better deal anyway

They quoted me £145 fully comp) for my Sport - with the planned mods (pick-up, lift, etc) but I didn't buy it as I was just having a nosey with the prices. Will hopefully be sorting it out soon though. Can't imagine it'll be much different.

Yes it is for offroad and road use The policy is for agreed mileage of 5k year and yes they dont take your no claims discount into account But as Ste pointed out this is my second car and i have a little Clio for everyday use so i can use my no claims discount on that Cannot fault them at that price

the sport is parked way at back of the garden under some snow , 1oft long shed side wall, fence post an other crap so im not in a hurry to insure it for offroading as of yet.
Just need social domestic for the lwb might accept the 301 quid offer depending on the breakdown
