Well, you lot are Stuck with me for another 13 months again !!!

Truck has sailed it's MOT again today, 6th Straight consecutive MOT pass in a row :dance:

Two advisories ......

Slight play in both propshaft UJ joints, got it sorted, got a good condition one off "Bay Of E" for £20 delivered.

And

Slight Play in Steering idler Arm, again, brand new one sorted of "Bay Of E" for £30 delivered.

And whilst under the truck checking the Prop shaft, noticed a slight oil drip from the gearbox end of the prop, so while the shaft is off will fit an new seal at the same time.

Mind you, not all good the past few weeks,

parted with £80.00 for a brand new radiator and £180.00 for a brand new fuel pump, but needs must, and as most of the trucks in scrap yards are round about the same age as mine, could'nt see the point in putting second hand parts on for them to last a few months and then have to do the same job over again.

So a few tiny bits and bobs to do over the next few weeks then ...................

I was lucky with the rad. Got one virtually new the guy had fitted then shortly after his cambelt snapped so he scrapped it. Nearly new rad 25 notes. Joy!

Lucky sod !!!

Mind you, I get spares and parts at -35% trade price over retail price, but the best I could get one was £115+ Vat !!!

Ended up on Ebay, got one with a 2 year Guarantee on for £80 including Next Day Delivery, so it proves, sometimes it does pay to use Ebay.

Mind you, I did put the feelers out last week as to wether to sell her or not, then When I came back from the MOT station with a big grin from ear to ear, I actually thought, How could I get rid of this.

128,000 miles and as sweet as a nut, even the tester commented on how low the emmissions where fora truck that is nearly 17 years old !!!

You know why it passes every year?? Cos it sits on his drive and he pretends he's off roading!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh i forgot he does start it now and again!! :mrgreen:
