I might sling a couple of muds in the boot for the rear just in case we get there and it needs them, though to be honest I have faith in the old girl. All we need now is a time and place!!

To be honest careful driving and cleaver use of 4wd will get you out of most situations. Norfolk is flat as well so no silly mountains covered in mud to climb. AT's should cope well enough. Will be nice to see how well the Trooper copes in all honesty as all I have done so far is mud plugging round boggy fields where she did admirably.

saying that i was on a/ts when i went out greenlaning around here and they faired well, got stuck twice, one in mud where a few of us did.
and another time when i slid off an embankment and there was bugger all i could have done to stay on, but that was fun getting that back on.

Haya fogman, we already have 4 cars going, I'll pm an online admit/mod and ask if they think we could get away with a group of 5 cars. I would of thought so, but better be sure! I'll post back as soon as I know, failing that I'm sure your more than welcome to hop in with someone else and navigate/warm if they are getting to close to somthing

Lets set the date to Sat the 19th of March

As for a meeting point....does anyone know a good meeting point around there? From what I can see on google maps...."Premier Inn Thetford" carpark might be a good easy to get to meet point?

Awesome. Would be cool if Fogman could come. I did thnk that 5 cars was the limit on these things. I will bring a load of tools and stuff for emergencies as well.

Oh and what time would be good to get to the Premier Inn?

sorry I didnt send you the MM overlay last night Dan, I was shattered and forgot all about it, and tonight's proceeding will be interupted by a lumpy jumper so I will have to send it to you on Friday mate

Also, just a tip, if you are doing the lanes in Elveden Forest (as there aren't any that go through actual Thetford Forest) some of them are deep loose sand so deflate to about 22psi all round and keep speed down (its tempting to speed up as they are wide and straight) but you will lose control easily and them big trees never get out of the way.

Also, keeping yr speed down means you may see some of the majestic deer that inhabit that forest

Fogman ... it seems about 45 mins to an hour to the Hotel meeting place. If you two (i.e. You and Fudge) want to get to mine for nine/half nine we can go in convoy after a cuppa.
