Re: good siteI just got that email as well Dazz.
Shame their fuel additives did nothing for me.
Re: good siteDazz mate, there is nothing wrong with that car, regular oil changes and filter changes with good oil will be better than sticking stuff in, leave this alone.
Additives will not help/replace or prolong oil changes, your (modern) engine is designed to fine tolerances and oil grades, take note some additives increase (temporarily) the thickness and viscosity of oil but this is not measured for any particular engine, so one fix does not fix all, there are too many variations. Re: good sitei agree in a way but i meant for all cars not just fronetras scubys and other cars this does improve but i was not really talking about that i was more for the oil sampling kits tells u wear and tear of your engine large company's use this to see how there engines are wearing i have always ripped oil filters apart to inspect them for metal dirt how many of us do that good oil changes and filters changes are great but was just some advise for other people as not everyone is a mechanic

Re: good siteYes but the industrial units CAT use are low revving engines with massive torque, marine engines are designed to run in a low rev range band also, and ironically the 2.5vm and the 4JB1 both have marine variants
