had a issue 1 of the slidder bolts snapped in the caliper so a new 1 was sourced from local scrap dude £40 ... and bobs ya uncle !!
again , cheers gents wouldnt have tried it with out you r advice

It's not just the pads and discs they do , it's the dozens of other of extra 'urgent' work they find while they are doing the original job. Wouldn't let those clowns check my tyre pressures let alone anything else.

yep yep , when i got a quote they adviced me to book it in for a inspection !!!!! alarm bells start ringing , i dont want a inspection i want new discs and pads ! they said we inspection all cars . . . . . . mmmm no ta will get the gents on fogs advice lol

i remember a horror story of kwikfit my old man told me. the story goes along the lines of bloke takes them a xr2 for an mot service and while "checking" the brakes Kwikfit thicko drove it into the wall of the workshop at 35+. this hit the papers but was years ago. the only time i Ever used them is hwen i was insured by them and they gave me a "free" mot. strangely enough my car failed and needed a Cat at 230 plus fitting and retest. did the emissions test at work with a warm engine and it passed with flying colours so took it back to them stinking hot and it passed
