Yes James got Memory Map with S.E. England O.S. 1:50,000 scale on it. Would need to expand map coverage to reach S.W. England. I need to seek a bit of help and tuition re using the software. Ian advised me that I need to download ActiveSync to link the MM to the cheepo PDA I bought to sort of the GPS tracking. Then would need to learn how to do the overlays etc. So I'm all ears if anybody can throw some 'How to do' advice at me. Pete

WOW!!!! its just taken me nearly 30 mins to have a quick scan of the route. It looks awesome, taking in the downs, salisbury and absolutely shed loads more. This will be a brilliant holiday. It doesnt end in Land's End though. Its waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyy off on north devon coast so could be modified to suit

I would say, with adding a few lanes that i noticed west of salisbury and ending the route at Land's End (Maybe taking in a final P-up night in Newquay) we would be looking at a wekk to complete the route. I am looking at a round trip from mine to dover, to Lands End, and back to mine of about 1000 miles. Estimating that I will be getting about 20mpg cos of the offroad bits, I will do about £260 in fuel. Add to that 5 nights camping so say £100. Food n beers £100 Probably looking at £500 for a weeks holiday not bad at all.
