Re: What should i do?Hi Neal don't give up i found a company last year that can revamp the clocks i posted it on another thread i think it was on one andysd1's.
they will rebuild the clocks with new parts for about £110 instead of new from VX at £450 there is a light at the end of the tunnel not just some bugger shining a torch ROADS? WHERE WERE GOING WE DON'T NEED ROADS!!
Re: What should i do?cheers for the comments everyone i think if it went i would miss it
also i think the clocks may have been out before as the little button for trip is stuck solid and i have noticed over the last few days the temp gauge is moveing up to the blue if im sat in traffic etc could the needle have been reset wrong?
Re: What should i do?Whats actually wrong with the thing and where abouts are you?
This posting may have been helpfull, on the other hand probably not... Either way, I may have had drink when posting it in which case it's probably not as helpfull as it could have been
Work safe, and remember all technical problems can be resolved with a hammer, the trick is knowing where to hit it and how big a hammer to use (I often find it may also help to have a spare bit in the shed to replace the bit you have just mullered Work in Progress (or not as the case may be) I give you.... Re: What should i do?glad im not the only 1 with temp gauge like that so in theory if im getting to top of blue shes getting warm and the fans should kick in? I have never heard the fan kick in yet but the never had the temp high enough i dont think other problem is speedo is dead dont do anything have tried with lights on off just sides etc but nothing even a slap and still nothing
Re: What should i do?Meezer to the rescue lol. OK I have a spare set of clocks for a Fronty B (v6 3.2) that should sort you out. I purchased them from a guy in Newcastle to replace mine (2.2 DTI) they were sold as fully working, At the same time a scrapper came to my attention so I took the clocks out of that and straight into mine, 2 days later the other clocks turned up. I haven't tested them myself as the clocks I fitted work perfect and at the moment don't have the time. So if you want them I will sell them for what I paid which was £50 plus postage.
As far as the manifold is concerned..... contact everyone on eBay breaking theirs you should be able to get one for less than £20. Let me know about the clocks? Tony If at first you don't succeed BUY A FRONTY
