I can 100% confirm that it is called a dibber, used in the windscreen trade for fitting and removing trims, and cleaning sealant

Two new words for me skuttle panel and dibber.. er... thats three.I would like to know what a skuttle panel is.
But thanks to bobbinsjob I now know what a dibber is.
Isn't there something near the same name for making a hole for daffodil bulbs?
I also agree with meoo, its a minature keyboard with an extremly old pea pod or a normal keyboard with the world record holding largest pea pod..

The Skuttle pannel is the metal panel at the bottom of the windscreen where the wiper spindles poke thru

Cheers bobbins, I did think it had a new windscreen with how clean it looked i.e no scatches or chips.

I spent 12 years as a windscreen fitter and have the exact same tool in my garage

CarGlass did my mate Avril's LDV quarterlight and were kind enough to leave the wee chisel thing behind.
Safe and sound in my tool box if they ever want it back.
Then another Carglass man came to me to fit a windscreen to one of the Trannies and left a box of nice blue "Don't touch my junk!" gloves.
No wonder insurance is so expensive.
