I have seen a B series auto for sale that i am considering buying. However i have seen lots of problems on the site about auto gearbox failing and not engaging gears
What i would like to no would you recommend one before i splash the cash

Bit thirsty, but narrr I prefer manual and its easer to get a box should it go boom

I know it's not the same car or box, but I had an Omega V6 estate auto and loved it for just that reason. Constant queuing in traffic was a breeze

Yer get the auto , first dibs on everything though

If you look after it and like most things we get the broken stories on here as people want their cars fixed so we rarely here the good stories, a good run in it will show faults then get the oils in the box changed asap.

v6 I have been looking all day,I think a lot of people are asking a bit to much round are way,v6 Auto would be nice at that price if you can get it
I spotted TDI auto that would be nice,but not at£3995

I dont know anyone pulling 20mpg with an auto bud. Defo need different wheels and tyres for the weekend if you do mate, muds and mpg dont mix. That 2.8 will have spoiled you on the juice.
