BMW fuel filter

Postby mickh on Wed Dec 29, 2010 8:05 pm

Decided today to drain the fuel filter on my old diesel 325 Beemer. This is simply a plastic nut type thing under the filter. As you cannot see it you just have to do your best by feel. Unfortunately as I undid it, you're ahead of me here probably, I dropped it. For an hour I searched and could not find it even after taking off the belly pan. Does any one know if you can buy theses little bastids separate from some where or tomorrow do I have to dissemble the whole engine bay.

Try this site for part identification, used it a lot when I was a Beemer owner: http://www.realoem.com/bmw/select.do
There are only 2 tools in life: Gaffa tape and WD40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the gaffa tape, if it doesn't move and should, use the WD40.
