Went to pick up a X22SE engine that is in bits needing a recon today, so I can rebuild it as a wee project and keep it as a spare for my Fronty .

Purely by chance the guy that I got it from was the previous owner of my truck and this is the original engine out my truck he swapped it with a Y22XE out of a 53 plate Omega , due to the bigend going on the Fronty

So a wee project for me and I might be able to reunite my truck with it's original engine some day if the Omega lump goes pop.

Anyway this also goes to show you can swap the engines over from other cars and use all the Frontera parts ECU, sensors, etc with no issues.

Would be good if you did a rebuild thread like jammywagonwheel its always good to get more info
