protection for bonnet leading edge

was talking to one of the guys in work today about needing to get a protector for the bonnet due to stone chips etc ...

" got just the thing here " says he , and wanders off to his store room ... couple of minutes later he's back with a roll of 1mm thick protective film
that's used to cover the leading edges on corporate jets ...

will give it a try tomorrow and see how easy it is to fit ...

Huggy has the magnetic stuff that taxi's use to stick their signs to the car, he covers his car in it when he goes off road to stop it scratching, could be worth a punt for the bonnet.
