Did a bit of gentle laning today over the mountain, lots of snow still left up there, with plenty of sideways moments even in 4WD which was fun until I just missed a 2 ft deep ditch n the near side Do you think Greg would have come to rescue me ?

We have got sheets of ice and black ice on the roads,anything wet is flash freezing, its foggy and the mist is freezing and looks like glitter in the air and everything has a coating, its looks really weird, I cant quit capture it on camera but it like sparkly powder

Just looked out now and everything is in thick white sparkly dust, not quite snow, freaky

no,,,still no snow,,,,,,,,,,, ,,,but got woken up at 4am with a massive clap of thunder this morning,,,,scared the pantaloonys of me,,,,,,,,

All the main roads up here are clear now. Still plenty of snow everywhere though. The problem is, is that it's so damn cold. Said -14 today. Warmer than Friday's -18 like. Just means that everything is sheet ice now, which makes for fun driving...even in a 4x4.

bad snow here just getting on my I look silly swearing people dont know how to drive in snow and just abandon the car van

get a grip Scotland and the council never seem to have enough grit and complain its costing to much so does my council tax

Nice fall of snow in east Argyll this morning. It has landed on week-old ice so making an interesting mix. Good excuse to use the Fronty for the school run - drove brilliantly.
Still, have to keep an eagle eye out for 2wd cars slithering about and the posers in lesser 4x4's battering along at speed most likely running on ultra low profile gripless tyres which could very likely come unstuck......and then when they do get it all wrong are heard saying "it shouldn't have skidded 'cos its a 4x4!!"

glasgow is grid lock roads are shut motorways are closed mass exudos of people i got about fine an helped a loads of folk except my nieghbours teach em. Its 2 foot here some parts deeper worse than what we got last week

I havn't seen the weather forcasts in the last few days as it makes for depressing viewing..Whats on its way and where is heading for...I hope not more bleedin snow coz i hate the stuff and got Christmas shopping to do
