Re: warning to driversI saw a topic on Facebook about this the other day. It's actually in the Highway code...
229 Before you set off remove all snow that might fall off into the path of other road user. I think the police will be taking the stance of "all items on or in the vehicle must be secured". The snow on ya bonnet or roof clearly ain't secure. I went out specially to buy a long handled brush with soft bristles so as to be able to clear the roof and not scratch the paint. Think it cost about £3 from TESCO. Jim and Phoenix

Re: warning to driversI have always been a believer in clearing snow and ice off all window as well as the screen and lights both front and back.
But I find the snow clears off the roof on it's own at 90 to 100mph no problem I would prefer a full bottle in front of me than a full frontal lobotomy.
Seek not excess, God hates he who roams !
Re: warning to driversI tend to just clear the 2 front side windows, wing mirrors and widscreen and leave the rest
Re: warning to driversI never thought about the snow on the roof of my fronty to be honest
Thanks Cheers Roo
