Re: insurance....that's not bad....but i'm a old fart with Saga at £132....pays to be a wrinkly
Re: insurance....Hi Got mine from Glynwood, saved £80 on the Adrian Flux quote. Also covers me for Green lanning and P&P that are officially organised and run by Borda Qualified Staff.
Cost just over £200 though I'm old..er, don't yet qualify for SAGA or a pension Regards Stuart Remember, keep the greasy side down!
Re: insurance....Lots of us with modified cars use Adrian Flux as they don't seem to mind what mods you do with your car, plus like you say, they cover for pay and play sites & green laning.
Traffic lights in London are just rough guidelines
Re: insurance....my old fronty was moded, they said as long as the engine was standerd i could do what i liked and also coverd gl and p&p.
it's good being over 50
Re: insurance....I'm with Liverpool Victoria which were by far the chaepest. I paid £201 for my V6. I was well happy with that.
Re: insurance....I'm with Adrian flux covers me offroad and green laning with all the mods to the truck if i wanted for another £50 they would do offroad / green lane breakdown cover not bad but im with rac and thought that i won't be doing it on my own so if anything happened someone would drag me to a road
Re: insurance....yeah i thought that about the breakdown cover and i thought if i get stuck and need recovery its going to be somewhere that no recovery lorry is going to get to, so i optted out for that!
Re: insurance....got a quote from adrian flux. £1288.35
Some people are like Slinkies... not really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs

Re: insurance....Just got my renewal from Glynwood, £313. That's fully comp with green lane and P&P cover with a mileage limitation of 12,000 miles per year (unlimited really). This includes mods as declared and that it's parked off the highway every night and being 50 years old (thats me not the car).
Tried Frank Pickles last year but after going through all the questions they decided they didn't do Fronties just Land Rovers, don't know why. Question for you fellas that have your insurance through Frank Pickles, Have you got your Fronties on low annual restrictions, or agreed to do something rediculous when parking up. From what I read on here you get up to the same antics as me. Therefore can't see why my business was declined!! Licence is clean; no accidents/claims; don't drink (much); to fat to compete in sport; live in a good area etc etc...... Regards Stuart Remember, keep the greasy side down!
Re: insurance....I opted for the 5k limit with FP but they never asked the mileage.
They even told me they would give FOG members 15% I think it was discount. They would not insure standard cars though. Ste
