Re: Are these the 3 best things? The Isuzu Rodeo was either built in Japan or Taiwan the Frontera was built in Luton, other than engines and tougher (better quality) metal used in the chassis they are essentially that same as RatCav said

Re: Are these the 3 best things? Before the fisticuffs start, hehehe, I had better explain that I was not trying to offend Trooper owners, as I love them, and I know the Fronty has the genes from Isuzu. I was just pointing out that it handles the snow better than my Isuzu Rodeo. The 4x4 2 cab pickup. I think as it had no weight on the back axles even in 4 drive it still swung its rear out on corners. The Fronty is much better behaved.
This is me. is that you?
Re: Are these the 3 best things?Ahhaa that will because the cab will be leaf sprung and as you say light at the bum end, and the Fronty is on coils on a R reg, much better road manners

Re: Are these the 3 best things?I am kidding folks. I have to agree with you about the twin cab. The pickups are as you say too light at the back and do have a tendancy to lose it when cornering. The extra weight of an estate does make all the difference. And I would be the first to admit the 3.0 Isuzu Diesel was a hell of a mistake, though they have resolved it now. And those early A series leaf sprung Fronties were just as good cornering, possible because Isuzu hit the nail on the head, especially with the Lotus handling kits which they hid from Vauxhall Handbags it is then ... I opt for my wifes, it weighs a ton because its the size of a house and contains the whole world in ![]() ![]() My members ride For Banshee the Trooper : viewtopic.php?f=46&t=34626 My members ride for Leeloo the Lotus Edition viewtopic.php?f=46&t=60154 Deceased My members ride for Brenda the Bighorn : viewtopic.php?f=46&t=54771
