How much would a smallish basic unit cost to rent? A neighbour reckons there are units (small but secured) for rent at stupidly cheap prices about a mile from my house, I was sceptical but he said his mate who is a bar manager rents one stores a couple of cars in one but he didnt get the price from him. My mind is cooking on this

I looked at one a while ago as i race motorcross plus the cars etc and it would be handy for storing the lot, but was £2000 for the year

Ste, the cheapest unit you can get round our way is £75 per week and that's for somthing big enough to accomodate a motor, work bench, large tool box and still have enough room to move around the vehicle safely, price also includes Electricity so no additional bills. Or normal "lock up" type garage (big enough for a motor but nothing else) is £35 - £45 a month but no electricity and not really much use to actually work on anything in.
