Probably. My brother was offered 8k for his last year and turned it down. He says no amount of money will buy his Capri from him its his pride and joy. He brought it for £300 from Fakenham about 4 years ago as a non runner. It had been stood on the blokes yard for 6 years and never moved, went straight through MOT with no advisories. Last year he had 3 1/2 pages of failures and still put it back on the road.

My pal the Wine Merchant has a 2.8 injection low mileage always been garaged one owner from new all the extras!!!! Hasn't been used for the last 10 years but it has been sideways a few times in the past.
I think he'll wet himself when he sees that ad.
Maybe I should just make him an offer.

Bugger bugger bugger ...between them and RS2000 and Mexico's that where a few hundred pounds in the 80's, literally normal second hand car prices before insurance went mental, you could have bought ten of them stored them and bought a house on the profits

Each car average in the 80's good nick between £800 and £900 (yes a lot then) but selling for £15000 plus now even better than Microsoft shares

Lee's Dad uses a bigger version in work, they are for plant vehicles but road legal plant vehicles, he told me about them.
He did recommend a proper repair but said he has never seen one of these fail even when he managed a general tyre fitters.
Now whether the one's he is talking about are professionally fitted I dont know

He has been in the industry 30 years even seconded to Germany many years ago, I will quiz him further as we are due a drink
