Wheel jack questionThis is probably a stupid one but one I need answering!! Lol. Seen as my truck has a 2" sus lift and 31" tyres I take it that the original jack probably won't touch the jack point??!! If I'm correct in thinking this then what the heck do I use??
Re: Wheel jack questionI use a 3 ton halfords bottle jack in the car and a trolley jack at home, the trolley jack easily lifts the suspension to change a tyre and many other jobs.

Re: Wheel jack questionThe standard factory screw jack should still work as it lifts from the axle, not the body, even with slightly larger tyres (the early A's had the option of 31" tyres.
That said, a hydraulic bottle jack is less clumsy to use. Lawrence
Re: Wheel jack questionJust remembered I used your factory jack (Trugga) when changing the wheel when blew the tyre on that lane in Wales, so yes they are good enough to use
