Re: bugger 2,,,,,my old 88" SWB Series 3A truck cab started life as a diesel - and after a hard life and a few - enhancements
Fronty has seats that dont disconnect at random because the ally plate their bolted to forgot to mention it needs a 1"+ washer to stop the bolt pulling out, your not sitting on a fuel tank that empties far too quickly (18mpg with the V8 Downside - its a Vx, It will break - and if it does it can and will be fixed. Mines 15 years old - and being realistic - a 302ci in a 2.0 leafer sport - would tear it to pieces (like the flatbadge), but Gregster I'm sure could sort a solution out for a proper car Would I give up Martha - Hell no.. I drive a nice car for the week - yawn - driving to work and back - stuck in jams, etc - typical eurobox - no soul..... Fronty for weekend fun, crashing into trees and making me smile, If I - or a tree With the Fronty, I have met friends of old (Houndog) who I went to school with (over 20 years ago - and he had a beetle!) - and new friends - see the SE weekenders IMO - Frontys are a family, looked after by people who care - and can - and will - help. Long live the FOG.. John Sorry about the rant - Martha gets new brake pads tomorrow - Because she's worth it! and in a really sad way - I'm looking forward to it! - Oh and I need to stop before the next dent - You cant polish a t*rd..
But you can roll it in glitter if its broken - fix it if it isnt - mod it!

Re: bugger 2,,,,,I like my Martha (in case you didnt notice)... but a little V8 shoehorned in there..... Landrovers are fantastic (older ones before they got too many electrics / gremlins in there), but Ive been converted.. my typically Germanic eurobox stays on the drive at weekends, and Martha comes out to play.. in fact - were off out in a minute (6:30am on a SATURDAY John You cant polish a t*rd..
