mad ideas - one for the fabricators

is it just me or do any of you get some mad idea whilst watching rubbish on telly, well I've just had one.....

As anyone ever thought of double chassising a fronty.....no......well don't ask why but the idea just come to me


ie...


get a bare chassis with running gear and steering still attached , then strip running gear from another fronty but retain engine and gearbox in that one and with a bit of modding and spacing as required drop one on top of the other and weld together .....end result on serious body and suspension lift.


not been under the fronty for a while so can't picture the exact setup but sounds do-able to me

i was thinking chasiss aboute 4" apart not 4 foot

yes the axles would still have same clearance but engine and box would be higher

wasnt thinking of huge tyres maybee 33- 35 top
