Multiple trade purchase

Went to a local motor factors today to purchase a new rear brake light bulb for the Sedona.
Fella says: ' How many do you want'
I say 'Are they about £1 each?'
He say 'Ya'
I say 'In that case I'll have a couple for just over £2 including VAT'
Fella says 'Do you realise that due to trade multiple pack purchase you can have 10 for £3.53 including VAT'
No brainer really - box of 10 equals 35.3p each, individual purchase just of £1 each.
Next time I need to purchase service parts I'm certainly going to ask about trade multiple purchase.
Best thing is I don't have or need a trade account with this company.
The company is Ajay, don't know if they are national or regional outlet.
