Re: Air Con Re-ChargeYeap, Kwik Fit.
The take a reading before they start, then take a reading when they finish, if no difference then they dont charge you. Good if you arn't sure that everything is working and operating on your A/C ok. Also, some back street garages do it, usually a little cheaper than someone like kwik fit, but cheaper does not alway mean better !!!
Re: Air Con Re-ChargeThanks reckon i'll take it to KF tomorrow, no doubt when it's done summer will end and we'll be plunged into sub zero termperatures

Re: Air Con Re-ChargeI woulld'nt usually recommend Kwikfit, but for air conditioning, with a no quibble, money back guarantee, you cant go wrong.

Re: Air Con Re-Chargetake the fuse out if you take it to kwik fit so the compressor wont kick in then you dont pay cause they cant get it colder but they should still gas it, go a little way down road and put fuse back in and there u have a/c

Re: Air Con Re-ChargeI've just got back from KF and my visit was short to say the least.
Me: How much for air con recharge KF1: Errrrr (looks on wall for price) £49 Me: My wife got it for £35 at a different one a few weeks ago KF1: Hang on (walks off and gets another guy) KF2: Air con recharge yeah? Me: Yes KF2: It's £49 Me: Bye I think £50 is a little steep considering the machine does 90% of the work and each car will hold different amounts + don't have the spare cash this month.
