Re: VW Passat brake help PleaseNo you dont
Needle nosed pliers fit the V grooves perfectly Or alternatively something like THIS Although this one is a bit expensive, but the 2 pegs are designed to fit into the grooves.
Re: VW Passat brake help PleaseMy mates has three grooves not two. Will get it sorted this weekend

Re: VW Passat brake help PleaseI have been onto sealy direct and they have a three pin tool in developement at the moment so there must be a call for them. VW issue one to their own sevice centres but there is not one available to buy yet. I will make one in the near future when my wrists are a bit better and i can opperate the milling machine

Re: VW Passat brake help PleaseI still reckon needle nosed pliers will work as they shouldnt be that stiff when winding them back in. Particularly on a later model.

Re: VW Passat brake help PleaseLater model vw's audi's and mercs rear calipers are controlled by the ecu. You need to plug in via the obd port and then the ecu will wind the caliper back. Its all to de with the electronic parking brake.
