The wheel bearing has gone in the O/S rear. Have been trying all day to get the half shaft out, and it hasn't budged a bit. Have now given up for the day, looking forward to a cold Does anyone have a Bearinator I could borrow, who is close(ish) to me, North Oxfordshire. Or does anyone know how to remove the half shaft, when it is stuck fast. I think this is gonna be a pig of a job to do, as the brakes on that side seized last weekend,l and I think that also helped the bearing along as well. Smoke was pouring from that wheel. Thanks

Cheers for that Andy.
Will have to see if anyone who has one comes one, and could FOG Express it to me.

Hi Dan,
Thanks for letting us know where it is. I think I may be waiting a while to get the FOG express on it, and I need the car for next weekend.
Is it the sort of thing that I could arrange for a courier to pick up, and then return back to you once I have finished with it?
Thanks

Hi Drew, it is quite heavy..... The other problem is is that i'm off the Eurodisney this week on Thursday having worked days all week until then so being in to hand to a courier would not be possible this week sorry.
Cheers Dan

Bugger, a bit late to the party, I have the other bearinator.
A friend, Would it be ok for me to drop it round to you sometime as you are far more central then me and it would be better served with you then at mine.
I also drink Port and I'm not ashamed to say it! Me Truck

If needs be, and after headbanging as done the biz, any chance I can join the queue to borrow one. I want to do the bearings on the replacement back axle from the Trooper.

I'm still after the Bearinator, as the bugger of a bearing and half shaft still hasn't come out.
The slide hammer I hired is about as useless as a choclate teapot.
Just got one more thing to try, before it is left to the Bearinator. Gonna put a steel rim on there, backwards, weld a pipe to that, with a plate at the end, and hammer nine bells of sh*t out of it. Hopefully that will get it moving. So far the bearing is about 1/3 of the way out, and not moving any more. The other option is to get some plate behind the wheel, and use bottle jacks between the steel rim and plate.
A friend - As i'm not mobile at the moment, would it be OK if I arranged for a courier to collect the Bearinator from you, once you get it from Phil?
