Re: punch huntBlimey - its next weekend - Yep I'm still up for a go. Jason ?
As for a buttie wagon, if it is there, I'll support it (saves carrying additional weight in the boot) Lawrence

Re: punch huntIs this the place: FOG MNap ?
Can we make a list of those of us who intend to be there... 1. Big Red Fronty & Damrabbit 2. Trugga & _______________ (Jason has first shout) Feel free to add your name to the reserve list for a passenger seat in my Sport (and the controls to the winch - training can be given) Come on chaps. Only £18 to have a play with the added challenge (should you chose to accept it) of finding punches through the venue and a possible prize for the most punches visited, not to mention a buttie wagon. Re: punch huntI might be able to attend
As long as she back on her feet i should be able to attend ![]()
Re: punch huntYeh, it should be a laff - the last one was, even if neither of us thought about entering before hand - talk about spur of the moment.
I have since bought two snatch blocks (I must of left the last one behind in the woods), another three 4.5T bow shakles (remember, we bent one of the lesser ones lasts time) and another tree strop - ready for the next drag me sideways towards that tree moment. As Jason has had to pull out, I now have a spare seat (and a winch remote) going spare should anyone fancy a play. If you don't fancy playing, pop along anyway (and bring a camera). Lawrence

Re: punch huntWhat time does it start?
Re: punch huntWell, that was fun... and eventfull.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Did'nt get many photos as I was too busy being recovered from one end of the site to the other from about mid day. Cracking fun though and all for £18 bravo Shropshire Suzuki Managed to get a few easy punches, even the one in what is apparently named the "mud run" - I tried to self recover from that with the winch, but the mud just bogged down the whole truck, so accepted a helper tug off Si in the LWB Frontera. Managed to get all the punches in the woods with out any real bother (lots of tight and twisty turns through the trees), but on attempting the one of the climbs out back into the medow, something broke and a metalic rattling sound accompanied the right foot. At first I thought it was ther rear diff, but I expected the front to work and as that was not the case, and with lack of drive, opted to get recovered to the paddock area. This in itself was an adventure using lots of straps, ropes shackels and at times winches and snatch blocks, but with the help of every Frontera on the site, I made it back to the Paddock. Once we'd worked out that the transfer box had imploded, I was able to make my way home safely - but not without first tackling a burger and a pop from an impromptu butty truck. All told, a good day - just need to sort me out a transfer box and some assistance in fitting it. Lawrence
