MOT centre in Leeds/Wakefield

Evening all.

Firstly - quick apology to the mods. Sorry I've put this here - I didn't know where the right spot was, and had been intending to put it in "recomended garages" but it didn't seem to be letting me add a new topic in that forum.

So...I used to have a friendly MOT guy who would be straight up and honest about what was wrong with my motors and was quite happy to point out what he was failing me for so I could go fix it then bring it back to him to pass it. Unfortunately he's left the garage he was working for and the owner (surprisingly!) won't tell me where he's gone. This leaves me in a quandry with my very old "new" truck which needs an MOT at the end of the month.

Does anyone know of a decent place to taken a beaten up old truck to who'll do an honest job of MOTing it rather than cold testing it and failing me on half a dozen things just to see if they can make a few quid? Somewhere around SE Leeds or in the Pontefract/Castleford/N Wakefield area would be ideal, but am happy to go a little further if anyone can suggest a good spot.

So...found a likely spot and put the HOS in for testing today - and it passed!! Not even an advisory, though the tester did point out a very slighty seapy diesel pipe and a loose connection that's making the OS rear brake light work when it chooses to and not the rest of the time. Really decent guy, took me round the truck and pointed out a couple of things it'll need for next year - dead chuffed.
