Went today to price up new front brake pads for Rebecca went to my usual motor factors i almost passed out when they give me the price........

£37.00 + VAT

Told them to forget it and that for that price i could probably get performance pads now is it me being out of touch or are they trying top shaft me good and proper??

I get mine on ebay for about £8 to £10 a pair.

Im not bothered about getting named pads and off road they take a hammering any way with mud grinding in them, been there done that, and they are easy to change anyway.

yep riped off, £23 is what i paid, and not the same as the A, as they have the hole for the pad warning light,

Depends if you have wear indicator wires built in the price goes up accordingly,mine being a base model it has the same pads as 2.8 A series

Not early A's but coiler A's fit as Ive got some on the front of mine, just knocked the sensor bobble off

Just found my reciept and I paid just over £17 for fronts, and £14 for rear.

You lot are like the shepherdess....She'll spend 5 Euros to get to a shop that will sell her carrots 5 Cents cheaper.
It is all a question of how much do they cost you when you are home and ready to fit them.
Don't spend a morning saving a fiver. Spend the fiver and use the extra time to have fun with the family.
Cheaper miles away or more expensive just down the road? Do I need them right now or I can get them on the net and wait a couple of days for delivery?
It's your choice.
I didn't get where I am today etc.
