advice on selling

hi i have a 2.2 petrol frontera lwb 1999 with 4 new tyres 12 months mot silver clean condition inside and out cambelt been done all usual bits and peices have seen a v6 frontera that i want bad missis wont let me get it till this one goes can any one give me a rough idea how much i should ask and whats the quickest way to sell many thanks rob

Hiya mate....

Doing a completed listings search on ebay is normally a pretty good way to see what things go for....

In case you dont know how to do this....

Do a search on ebay for your type of car,
Then scroll down the page looking at the column on the far left with all the search options...
Tick the link marked "completed listings" which ticks the box and refines the search (ebay may ask you to log in)...

This will then show all the listings that have ended in the last few weeks...
Its the ones in green that will be of interest, as these are all the ones that actually sold...

Doing this is probably the most accurate way of seeing what people are prepared to pay for your type of car, clicking on the individual listings will let you look at the details so you guage which ones are nearest to the spec of yours...

Searching on autotrader or ebay classifieds is little help, the prices you will see are what sellers would like to get for their car, and many are overpriced...
