hi just a general enquirery on what our vosa are now charging to use a 2.2 deisel , 2000 +reg to use our pot holled roads , i know there is a price hike on the way for anything over a 2000 reg ,, my old p reg was £190 for the year , just wanna know wot i am going to let my self in for buying a newer car ,, cheers mark,

Mark, Depends on year mate. It only starts getting complicated if the vehicle was registered after March 1st 2001 (Probably Y-plate onwards, given that the 51-plates were the first of the numbered ones). Before that, it'll be the same system as for your P-plate model. I don't know the specific CO2 emissions for the various models, but if you find em out, this link here shows the prices.
