She failed her mot

This is what she failed on so any advice appreciated

1, Nearside front headlamp aim to high (easy fix)

2, Offside rear stop lamp not working
Was working before the mot so should be just a lose connection

3, Nearside rear stop lamp adversely affected by operation of another lamp
Basically when hazards are on the brake light flashes as well Any ideas on how to sort them out

4, Braking system leaking
The pipe that goes on the master cylinder has come lose (easy fix)

5, Offside rear rear brake recording little or no effort

6, Offside rear brake juddering severely

7, Parking brake efficiency below requirements
On numbers 5,6,7 the mot tester said i had warped discs and would probably need new handbrake cables.

Would the adjusters on the handbrake cables sort the handbrake out or will i need to replace the cables
Any advice would be great

iam with bernie on number three the brakes sound like they could do with replacing new disks and pads/shoes will get that lot sorted

it dont sound like a bad fail to me Ste all easy fixes

Possibly dirt inside brake drum/brake shoes not sliding on back plate
While you are there check caliper is sliding on pins properly

Thanks guys needs to be up and running by Friday as the mot on the 2.0 runs out.
Just been to my local motor factors and been quoted £83 just for discs
Any one no where i can get the any cheaper

I ordered an exhaust from Milner and it came next day

A handbrake cable should be around £17.

also on number 3 if you have tow bar check electric plugs pins front and rear as they can corrode and affect lights if shorting across pins

Just sorted out some discs from a place called car spares just down the road from me
Came in at £56 so only about £7 more than milners its worth the £7 just in case the did not arrive in time from milners.

I just hope i can adjust the handbrake cables now and don't have to fork out for new ones

They may need adjusting, there is a little wheel in the brake housing to adjust the shoes with a grommet at the rear to access it with a screw driver, mine is always seized and I have to take the discs of to sort them.
I am always shocked at how much crud is in there too

Well just been outside and braved it in the snow and sorted out numbers 2+3. Spot on Bern it was a bad earth
I still have a little problem with the lights i have one rear side light brighter than the other i still think it will past a mot.
I then moved on and started to sort out the the handbrake and rear discs. after changing the rear handbrake shoes the new discs would not go on no matter what i tried. i then removed the handbrake cable from the shoes and it went on a piece of cake. I then looked at the handbrake cable in more detail and it was seized. So i have just ordered some new handbrake cables and will have to finish it off on Saturday
I was hoping that i would not have to fit new cables typical
