im currently looking at getting a 2.2 short wheel base fronty in june/july
what do you guys think to this version?

Re: 2.2 swbI would look for a TDI LIMITED if you can get one for the right money,thats what i am looking for at the moment.
I currently have a LWB 2.2 and the cooling system is not that good - I would go for a TDI ltd as they are better on fuel, and more economical. The 2.2 is not that good on fuel. If you are going for a 2.2, look at the head gasket - check it has been done if over 60,000. Check for mayonaise on the oil filter cap. Jay

Re: 2.2 swbIt is very unfortunate, but there has been an awful lot of very nice looking fronteras stripped for spares just because they had knackered 2.2 engines.
It seems that it is too much hassle to convert to a different power unit. Pity though. Good luck with whatever you decide mate. Regards, Keith.
