hi,
just a general intrest question , how many mechanical parts from a A series will fit a B series , or are they totally different , as i am scrapping my old beast ,, would discs and pads ,turbo pipes , clutch master cylinder , ect fit a B series ,,i know body panels are diff ,,,

been thinking about the next set of wheels , what to buy , , get somthing i like , or somthing economical ,, and sorry the heart has took over the brain again ,, so a B series it will be when i have got rid if this one ,,,

cheers mark :) :drink:

Wheels will be the same offset for all coilers, I think the clutch mechanism may be the same but not the slave cylinder, I think the brakes are the same if all discs and calipers, though ABS compliant.

Don't get caught by the new EUROPEAN rules about having a donor vehicle. You have to decomission it, ie. drain all the oils and fuel, incluing brakes and clutch, remove the battery and generaly make sure that it does not pose a threat to the environment or any neighbour's kids. Even though they deserve a "clip round the ear" for playing in your garden with your dead Fronty. ( And they wouldn't if they knew they would get a "clip round the ear")
Even then you have a limited time to get rid of it unless you apply for a permit/exemption.
Cheer up though:- Here in France, if it has an engine and can move under its own power, it has to have third party insurance in case someone nicks it and does any damage.
Ride on lawn mower & two Mopeds that I am restoring, even though the engines are on the bench in the hell hole/workshop/bakery.
Oh and did I mention the Fronty with no g/box as I'm doing a DMF.
If you need something done quickly just ask a busy woman then get the f"k out of her way.
