Do we really need it? can we get rid of it? or do we need to keep it and if so, can we re-locate it?

What is this???Recent purchase, a LWB B series Frontera, whilst looking up to measure for a sump/steering guard, we find this cylinder thing right in the firing line for hitting rocks etc, but have no idea what it is for. can anyone enlighten us?
Do we really need it? can we get rid of it? or do we need to keep it and if so, can we re-locate it? ![]()
Re: What is this???Is it the vac reservoir for the 4wd system? I thought the front bash plate was metal on the B series?

Re: What is this???Just saw a bit on the "She lives again" post and it might be what he just replaced.
Edit: "She lives at last" on the Home bit. If you need something done quickly just ask a busy woman then get the f"k out of her way.

Should be possible to relocate whererever you want it as long as the lines don't get too long as this will add to the resistanse and slow down the 4WD actuator. viewtopic.php?f=18&t=29372&p=333341&hilit=+diesel+tank#p333341
