If your not called you normally get of early and can go home. Take a good book with you, for all the times your not in court. For what it's worth it was worth all the while

Ive done it twice and got picked both times, even did the foreman job the last time. They keep you right, dont worry about it, just listen to your instructions. Its easy enough mate. Also, you dont have to be squeaky clean to be on a dury. Regards, Keith.

First time for me too, I had a record when I was younger, didn't think I'd ever get called.

to write a letter saying he couldnt afford me to have time off work due to the economic downturn and it worked (Yorkshire born and bred )

Re: jury serviceJammy sod, I was told to take loads of pro plus as you would be board to death,then again caffeine is a diuretic and I would need the loo every 5 mins, reckon contempt of court would be my outcome
