Its a 2.3 or 2.4 with a trooper 2.8 engine fitted into it
That is not the original engine.

Tis a leafer mind....giveaway bits are early A wheels that dont sit out, swing away wheel carrier and drop down tailgate and its on an L reg which is tooo early for a 2.8...So its had an engine conversion at some time if it is a 2.8..
Got to say that inlet mannifold looks different to a fronty 2.8 and my chevy's isuzu 2.8...are we sure it is a 2.8???
