Re: car tax over the internetlast summer after making my fronty sorn for a short period i visited the p/o to retax it but for some reason that i cant remember offhand they wouldnt do it there & then, i had to return again later on, the only thing i can think of that i didnt have with me was the log book

Re: car tax over the interneti havent had to take my logbook for road tax for years untill i think i did last year & i certainly didnt have to when i taxed my mondy on the 1st

Re: car tax over the internetOnly need the log book if you've just purchased it, or if you are using the form V10 ... as long as you have the tax reminder then you only need MOT and Insurance

I telephoned the DVLA today to get my tax as I couldn't find my MOT certificate There were a lot of pushing of numbers on the phone pad, but ''hey presto'' My tax disc should arrive in 5 days It was really simple to use Cheers Roo
Re: car tax over the internetNote that on-line tax renewal works fine as long as ins. & mot have had time for system to rcord them as valid. My tax runs out same day as my ins. so I have to arrange my ins. renewal 2 weeks in advance otherwise it has not been notified in time.
