Just touching on this subject, our warehouse man is a retired Kent police traffic cop - when talking to him, apparently their first port of call used to be police drivers in borrowed 4x4 demonstrators from a main dealer (Land Rovers) then aligned to that they had a database of volunteered 4x4 owners who they would call upon - would have thought 4x4 Response. Did get passed the other night by an older civilian Discovery under a blue light with 4x4 Response team stickers on it.

Re: Urgent appeal for 4x4's in the Sussex AreaOne of the best ways to help ( we do it round here) is contact your doctor and see if he needs to get any where or contact the hospital and see if the midwifes need transport.
You might get to have a green light on the roof. If you need something done quickly just ask a busy woman then get the f"k out of her way.
