Re: which tyre for snow AT2 / MTYep,AT`s as they are less prone to digging & having recently seen Grabber AT2`s on fresh & compacted snow their performance would be hard to better
Re: which tyre for snow AT2 / MTMaxxis mudders for me. Just done 60 miles for 4x4 response and was in 4wd all the time. Took the swb specialy because it has the mudders on and felt so much safer than when driving with ATs. If just sloppy slush then ATs are ok. As for digging in, thats fine when you want to find the road beneath. Try them both in deep snow and go with what feels safest to you.

Re: which tyre for snow AT2 / MTOn my old Sport the AT's coped better in the snow than my MT's do now and they where just remould Colway AT's .
They gripped the snow great where as recently my MT's dug down through the snow but didnt gain any traction no matter what I did. AT ![]() MT ![]() These lost traction a couple of feet further on. Ste

Re: which tyre for snow AT2 / MTMy Ats were magic today in the snow.
Light travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak.
Re: which tyre for snow AT2 / MTWas out from 3am this morning with 4x4 Response in Forest of Dean, my Cooper Discoverer MT's worked very well in the snow which was over 10" in places
Went up a mates farm on Sat, his DIsco was struggling on AT's where I had no problems But the usual recommendation is to use AT's in the snow as they don't dig in as much as a MT tyre Soon to be without a Frontera after 10 years of owning one
