Re: 2ltr in a lwbConsidering the 2.0 is generally considered to be underpowered in the SWB I would think it would be pretty rubbish in the LWB.

Re: 2ltr in a lwbI have a 2.0 sport and to be honest it is little under powered on the road. its ok if you want to plod along but if you hit a long hill it needs to down shift or it passes out even then it crawls along. i reckon in a LWB you would have alot of gear changing and high reving to keep it going it would put you off driving your frontera. I was disappointed at the lack of power when i first got mine as i live near daul carrageway which is a long steep hill

Re: 2ltr in a lwbhave to agree would be under powered and u would be changing gears all the time and would ruin the ride

Re: 2ltr in a lwbthe one thing no one has mentioned, the cav engine. Is it an 8v or a 16v?
If its an 8v valve, you'll go faster with the blown 2.2, if it's the 16v Ecotech then there is plenty of power.
Re: 2ltr in a lwbmine an 8v on a 97 plate,
