Used to do this all the time for CR wheel hub gaskets , remove hub , clean the face of the hub , place job card over and hammer around outer and internal edge and hey presto new gasket and the jobs a good un

The gaskets on the turbo oil return pipe on my 2.8 are made from a cereal box, possibly Cornflakes

Couldn't get one from VX for a few days so made them, been on there a year now
